2018 Cross Country Schedule – Updated.


This is a tentative schedule and may be subject to change based on meet information.


Sept 9th– 3:30 first practice and parent meeting. Practices Sun 3:30 to 5:00 and Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30


Sun, Oct 7th– Hudson Mohawk Marathon Water Stop 8:30 – 12:00! Come cheer and give all runners water. Practice will be at 11:30 at the water stop.  Need parent volunteers to help pass water.


Sun, Oct 14th- Home meet – walk through 2:30 at town park, 2k race at 3:30 and 3k race 4:00.  Need parent volunteers!


REMEMBER TO REGISTER FOR SARATOGA RACE:  GO TO www.adirondack.usatf.organd click under youth.


Sun -Oct 21st  – Meet Against Guilderland at Tawasentha park.  1:00 walk through. 2k race is at 2pm and 3k race is at 2:30pm.


Thursday – October 25th – Halloween Run!  Need parents to volunteer to be candy stops!


Sun, Oct 28th– Meet Saratoga Spa State Park – walk through 8:15Parents need to pre-register on your own and pick up your own bib number.


DAYLIGHT SAVINGS STARTS NOV 4th – practices will be scheduled at earlier times: Sundays 3:00-4:30 and Thursdays 4:30- 5:30


Make Sure Dan Murphy/Bill Davis has all birth certificatesand information needed for your runner to compete in the Adirondack Championship and Junior Olympics.


Sun, Nov 4th–Adirondack Association Championship at Elm Ave Park in Delmar.  Time to be determined.


Thurs, Nov 8 – practice 4:30 – 5:30 – Turn in marathon/half marathon running logs


Sun: Nov 11th– Capture the Flag Championships and End of the year party.


Sat, Nov 17thTeam Pasta Dinner prior to Junior Olympics in NYC-  Make sure to RSVP


Sun Nov 18th – Regional Junior Olympics –VanCortland Park, NYC times TBA


Thurs, Nov 22th– Thanksgiving Day Run – wear your team shirt with pride


Sat, Dec 9thJunior Olympic Nationals in Reno, Nevada – See Coach Bill Davis if interested in going
